Use Case: Business System of software house

The company wishes to develop a system to manage contracts and project from initialization to completion. A customer requests the company to make a bid for a system project.
The customer supplies a specification for which VSC will determine a schedule with phases, the resources (Skill, Other) number of people and the cost. This proposal is submitted
to the client. If the customer agree a contract (fixed price or time/materials) is dawn up for the customer to sign.

The detailed project plan is then drawn up by the project manager who allocate in-house people to specific tasks for specific periods at specific location. When the project is underway
the staff report daily on the activities (no of hours). Weekly progress meeting for the different groups in the project (for each subsystem or each task type) are held to review and
record the progress made.

At the end of every month an invoice is produced for the customer based on the number of man hours completed by all the project staff. Each staff/skill type may have different hourly
rates. Payment is made usually within one week. One completion of the project the customer check that the system meets the requirement and then sign off. In some instances a project
may be suspected (e.g customer unable to pay) or postponed or in the worst case cancelled at any point during development

You can discuss with me “How do you assume for this?”
